Would it be possible for me to add an achievements and credits screen from the main menu, or would that break the main menu screen? Just making sure- I'm very new to this.
Wow! This GUI is seriously gorgeous. And I love the way you decided to do the textbox. I like it so much better than the long ones at the very bottom of the screen.
I am having an issue though. For some reason, the border isn't showing on the main game screen (just showing transparent grid). I get the error "unexpected image." I didn't change any files in the GUI folder or make any edits to the gui or screens files. Any ideas what's causing the error or advice on how to troubleshoot?
Sorry to bother you, but I really like your Astrology Ren'Py GUI, but I need to make a small change for my idea. And I still wouldn't be able to do it on my own.
How do I change the width of a text on the textbox to make it wider than it is now? See the screenshot below
Hello! The terms might be wrong since I can't go on the pc to double-check atm, but you'll have to change the textbox PNG image to be wider. After that, in the game code go to gui.rpy and search for textbox width. Change the number to the dimensions of your wider textbox image. ✌️
hello, i love the design and I'm planning to use it for my first personal project, i want to change some things to match my game style and i would like yo have more space in screen but i can't take off the borders. I'm a beginner so I'm really struggling with it, so i hope someone can help me.
I just love the design, and I intend to use it in a project of mine. But I have a question: Is it possible to change the size of the text/dialog window? I tried to change it in the code gui.rpy, but the size remained the same.

This is really useful, especially for me to understand animating GUI elements, thank you sm!

You should be able to, but you may find some difficulties if you don't know what you're doing yet.
Hello. I used your gui in my game, if you are interested, here is the link to it: https://orinoku.itch.io/lost-wish

Thanks so much in advance.
Ok, I'm an idiot. I replaced the script file and didn't keep the command you clearly labeled DON'T REMOVE. That was 100% on me.
I'll leave my embarrassing comment up in case anyone else also makes this noob mistake.
Hi, I used parts of this GUI here, thank you so much for providing such a beautiful resource!
OH THIS IS SO GORGEOUS

You'll have to manually resize the image and then change the sizing in GUI.rpy to fit the new dimensions!
